You send a template — we do the merge.
Upload one set with placeholders such as
<Name> where the personalized text goes, plus your CSV list.
Please don’t merge the file yourself.

- Pages How many pages are in the file you upload — not the number of finished pieces, and not sheets of paper. This should be your “template”.
- Quantity How many rows are in your CSV — one row per finished set you need (for example a nametag, a number, or an address).
Example: a 5-page letter for 100 people
Your file has 5 pages. Printed double-sided that’s 3 sheets of paper each — we work that out for you.
Pages 5 · Both Sides · 3 Sheets of Paper · Quantity 100
Example: 50 double-sided nametags
Upload one page for the front and one for the back — that’s a 2-page file, printed on 1 sheet each.
Pages 2 · Both Sides · 1 Sheet of Paper · Quantity 50
Your placeholders must match your CSV headers
What you call each placeholder is up to you — what matters is that the two match exactly. Above, <Name> in the template pairs with a column headed Name in the CSV. Add one placeholder and one matching column for every piece of information that changes.
Our layout team may ask for a blank copy of your template as well. You don’t need to send one upfront — we’ll only ask if we need it.
Already merged the file yourself? Use the Multi-Page Documents form instead, with fronts and backs alternating.
This form handles up to 30 pages and 5,000 records. For a longer document just ask us for a quote — for a larger list, split your CSV and place separate orders.
